Nina Kim on Teaching and Healing - Reiki, Mind & Soul Empowerment Podcast | 9th July 2021

I was deeply honored and grateful to be invited back to Sophia Thome’s Empowerment Podcast (rebranded from Aufhören der Podcast) in May 2021. Back in June 2019, we spoke of Reiki, my healing journey, moving from San Francisco to Berlin, psychedelic experiences, the difference between the use and abuse of substances, and how it is to offer Psychedelic Reiki Massage in the clubs of Berlin. Feeling a whisper in a meditation, while also acknowledging that so much had changed since we last spoke, I approached Sophia in April with the idea of another podcast conversation and was thrilled by the warm invitation. This conversation took place at nearly the end of an intense second Lockdown in Berlin and was released in July 2021, but I wasn’t ready to receive the transmission until October 2021 while on my way back to the Land of Portals Surrounded by the Sea for plant medicine & Kâmbo ceremonies. This was very full circle for me, since I’d left for this Land a month after our conversation in May for plant medicine ceremonies and to recover from Lockdown Burnout.

I’ve turned down invitations for podcast interviews in the past based on my intuition and certainly don’t take excellent podcast hosts for granted. Sophia is an incredibly insightful, funny, inspiring, authentic, clever, wise, and beautiful inside-and-out interviewer and person, and I so appreciate the amazing space she holds and facilitates. I am so very thankful I met her as a client via Berlin’s Agape Zoe Healing Arts Festival.
